Annual Fund

The annual Fund is the backbone of the yearly fund raising effort of Willow Brook Christian Communities, providing critical support for every aspect of our program. Many of the residents in our healthcare facilities receive financial assistance. The funds received from government sources such as Medicare and Medicaid fall short of what is needed to provide the quality of life that we are determined to provide.

In addition to the benevolent aspects of Willow Brook’s ministry, there is the continuing need to keep our facilities as modern and clean as possible, to repair and replace equipment, and to hire and train the most qualified as well as most caring staff that can be found. Many of these needs require us to reach beyond our budget. Because of the generosity of our donors, the funds needed to meet these special needs have always become available.

Last year alone, more than 25 churches and 500 individuals gave over $160,000 to our Annual Fund. Donations are acknowledged at the following levels:

  • President’s Council (gifts of $1,000 or more to the annual fund)
  • Executive Club (gifts of $500 - $999 to the annual fund)
  • Patron’s Club (gifts of $250 - $499 to the annual fund)
  • Society of Barnabas (gifts of $100 - $249 to the annual fund)
  • Friends of Willow Brook (gifts of $1 - $99 to the annual fund)

It is also possible to make restricted gifts towards specific needs. A wish list of specific items needed by different departments and programs at Willow Brook will ensure that your gift will be applied where there is the greatest need.

Several benevolent funds also exist if you wish your gift to be used for direct financial assistance for those in need. These funds include:

The Julia Smith fund - to assist those in the Centrum's assisted living section of Willow Brook Christian Village who have financial need.

The Herb Strigle fund – to assist those in Willow Brook Christian Home who have financial need.

The Residents' Council fund – to provide special needs that improve the quality of life of individuals living in the healthcare facilities.

If you wish to make a gift to the Annual Fund in general, toward any of the needs listed on the Wish List, or toward any of the benevolent funds named above, please send your donation to:
