Executive Director - Full-time - Delaware, Ohio
Due to organizational growth, Willow Brook Christian Communities is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the operation of Willow Brook Christian Village.
Willow Brook Christian Village (WBCV) is a continuing care retirement community in Delaware, Ohio, offering independent homes and apartments, assisted living, Alzheimer's care, skilled nursing care, and adult day services on a 30-acre campus.
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director will have the primary responsibility for the care of the WBCV residents, the implementation of all programs, and the general welfare of the entire staff of the campus. The Executive Director will also be responsible for leading the development of new programs and ventures at the WBCV location.
Duties of the Executive Director include initiating and monitoring all major programs affecting the health and welfare of residents, facility operations, annual budget, personnel practices, public and community outreach for the WBCV campus, and advising the CEO of long-range and short-term needs. The Executive Director will also ensure, through tactful leadership and supervision, that WBCV department goals and operations are accomplished efficiently within established performance standards and budgetary allocations.
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree, ideally with a business emphasis. A current Ohio nursing home administrator's license is highly preferred. Candidates should also have a knowledge of financial accounting and budget methods, sound decision making abilities, excellent communication skills, and a warm, outgoing personality.
