Garden Homes
A cozy apartment building located at the center
of the Willow Brook Christian Village campus, the Garden Homes look over two gazebos on the hills outside. Indoors, a pleasant "family room" in the common area in the center of the building invites residents and their guests to sit beside a warm, crackling fire in cold weather. Couches, easy chairs, television, games and books are scattered about the room, and a kitchennette and dinette table make the area feel like an extension of your home.
Entrance Fee
A one-time entrance fee is assessed. Here's how it works…
- When you select your specific garden home, you will pay a refundable deposit of ten percent of the entrance fee and you will complete and sign an Independent Living Residency Agreement with 10% Deposit form. Willow Brook will provide a copy of a Residency Agreement at that time for you to review. Should you change your mind, the full deposit is completely refundable up to the day you move in.

- After you are approved for residency and before you actually move in, you will complete and sign a Residency Agreement.
- You have 90 days from when you pay the ten percent to move into your Willow Brook garden home. After 90 days, even if you have not moved in, we will ask that you begin paying the monthly service fee and your home will be held for up to 120 additional days. If you have not moved into your home after that 120-day period, Willow Brook will refund your deposit (but not the monthly service fees).
- Within 30 days prior to your move-in date, we will help you arrange for a health assessment by a Willow Brook staff nurse.
- The remaining 90 percent balance of your entrance fee is due the day you move into your Willow Brook garden home.
- The entrance fee is 75 percent refundable to you or your estate after you permanently move out of your garden home and it is reoccupied by another resident.

Monthly Service Fee
A monthly service fee is assessed as follows...
The monthly service includes the following...

- Cable TV (Time Warner
Standard Service - 70 channels)
- Maintenance of all
appliances
- Property taxes
- $65 monthly credit per occupant in The Courtyard at Willow Brook,
the restaurant on campus**
- Building insurance
- Landscape/lawn care
- Snow removal
- Monthly basic homemaker
service
- 24-hour emergency
call
- Use of the campus
center and all common areas
- Monthly appointment
in the Health and Wellness Clinic
- Priority entrance
into The Centrum, Passages, Heritage Day Health Center, Cherith
Care Center, and Willow Brook Christian Home
- Group transportation
- Group activities
*The second occupant fee may be
waived month to month if you are away for a full calendar month
(for example, if you go to Florida for the winter). The second occupant
fee will be assessed for partial months you occupy your Garden Homes
apartment.
