Nursing Home Standard Covered Services -- Private Pay
A refundable deposit
of $9,000 is due upon admission. The daily comprehensive fee is
$215/day for a private room
and the following services are included in the fee.
- Room
- Meals (including
special diets if ordered by attending physician)
- Linens
- Nursing services
- Personal hygiene
services (to the extend the resident is unable)
- Personal hygiene
supplies (soap, toothpaste, tissues)
- Housekeeping services
(to the extent the resident is unable)
- Recreational activities
and supplies
- Group transportation
for scheduled trips
- Use of the Home's
wheelchairs and walkers
- Stock non-nonprescription
medications (e.g. aspirin, Milk of Magnesia)
All other services are not included in the comprehensive fee.

- Physician services
- Podiatry
- Physical, occupational,
and speech therapy
- Optometry
- Dental care
- Underpads, diapers,
gloves
- Medicines (except
those specifically mentioned above)
- Private telephone
- Clothing
- Barber and beautician
services
- Dry cleaning
- Special transportation
(ambulance, individual trips to outside doctors or clinics, etc.)
- Other services and
incidental items not specifically mentioned above
