Willow Brook at Delaware Run, 100 Delaware Crossing West, is off US 36/West William Street, less than two miles from downtown Delaware, Ohio.

The first thing you notice when you turn off the highway into Willow Brook at Delaware Run is the feeling of serene spaciousness and light. You ease down a hill, curve around trees and a stream, pass over a bridge, and view lovely twin-single homes that have lots of space between them, just for breathing room. The neighbors will probably give you a friendly wave.

When you enter the Village Square apartments at Delaware Run you feel you are stepping into a gracious and welcoming place, one that cares first and foremost about you.

We have so many retired artists and art teachers in the neighborhood that you could almost say Delaware Run is an artists’ colony! A lot of musicians, too. Transitional Living

As time passes many people find themselves or their spouses needing more help with some activities than they did in the past.  At the same time, if they could get a little help in the daytime, they would be just fine in the evening and overnight.  That's why Willow Brook has introduced Transitional Living.  A person or couple lives in an apartment virtually identical to all the other independent living apartments.  But on the transitional living wing a staff person is on site 12 hours a day to lend a hand.  It may be with personal care, or with medication reminders, or with friendly encouragement to participate in personal or social activities that give life meaning and pleasure.  To read more about it, click on the Transitional Living bar to your left. Twin-Single Homes

Independent retirement living in twin-single homes and apartments:

Entry fees at Delaware Run range from $99,000 to $282,400 and monthly fees from $1,122 to $2,202, depending on the size and location of the home, the options in it, and the number of occupants. Transitional Living Rates

Entry fees range from $6,000 to $8,000 and the monthly fees from $4,030 to $4,870 depending on the size of your apartment, and include a food credit that can be used for three meals a day, seven days a week in a variety of dining areas. Transitional care services are offered from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and include laundry assistance, medicine and meal reminders, bathing assistance, check-ins throughout the day, weekly housekeeping service and more.

Health Care Center and Assisted Living Rates

Assisted living and memory care at Willow Brook are charged at one, all-inclusive rate that provides:
· all private rooms
· meals and snacks
· linens, housekeeping and laundry services
· 24-hour nursing services, including medication administration
· telephone and cable
· assistance with dressing and bathing as needed
· personal hygiene supplies and services
· group transportation
· stock non-prescription medications such as aspirin or milk of magnesia

Assisted living is not covered by Medicare or Medicaid, so most payments for assisted living are made privately. Medicare may in some circumstances cover some costs of therapy. The Veterans' Administration and many long-term care insurance plans include extended care. Not included in the rate are physician services, therapy, medical supplies, medicine, clothing, barber/beautician services, dry cleaning or special transportation. We accept COAAA respite.
